John Wick: Chapter 2 Movie Review



John Wick: Chapter 2 is the second installment in the John Wick franchise, directed by Chad Stahelski and released in 2017. The movie stars Keanu Reeves in the title role of John Wick, a retired hitman who is forced back into the world of assassins when a powerful figure calls in a blood oath that he made years ago. The movie picks up where the first movie left off, and it follows John Wick as he takes on the world of assassins in Rome and New York City.

The movie starts with John Wick retrieving his stolen car from a Russian mobster named Abram Tarasov (Peter Stormare), the brother of the main villain from the first movie. John returns to his quiet life, but it's not long before he's drawn back into the underworld when Santino D'Antonio (Riccardo Scamarcio) comes calling. Santino is a powerful figure in the world of assassins, and he calls in a blood oath that John made with him years ago. John is reluctant to honor the blood oath, but Santino threatens to kill him if he doesn't comply.

The plot of John Wick: Chapter 2 is a fast-paced and action-packed ride that takes the audience on a thrilling journey through the world of assassins.
